FAQS

How do we get started?

Reach out through our contact page to schedule a conversation.  We'll talk through your goals, your students and what partnership could look like.

Who does Eban Financial Wellness serve?

We partner with schools, community organizations, and youth-serving programs to deliver financial literacy education for young people ages 13-25.  Our programs are designed to meet students where they are.

What does a partnership with Eban Financial Wellness look like?

Every partnership looks different.  It starts with a conversation about your students, your goals, and your timeline.  From there, we build a program, single workshop, a multi-series or a full curriculum tailored to your organization's needs.  We handle the content and facilitation, you bring the students.

How is the program funded?

Programs can be funded directly by the partnering school or organization, or through sponsorship from a bank, credit union or community partner.

What topics do you cover?

Our content covers the fundamentals of budgeting, saving, credit, banking basics, understanding your paycheck, filing taxes investing and money mindset.  We go further addressing the beliefs and habits that shape how young people relate to money long-term.  Programs can be customized around a specific audience like our "Money Moves Like an Athlete" curriculum built for student-athletes.

Who is teaching the program?

Sessions are led by Nkenge Williams, founder of Eban Financial Wellness and a Certified Financial Education Instructor with hands-on experience in both financial education and fiscal compliance work.

Is this only for schools?

No, while schools are a core partner, we also work with community organizations, youth leadership programs, and athletic programs.  If you're serving young people ages 13-25, we'd love to talk.

Can banks and credit unions get involved?

Yes, banks and credit unions play a vital role as sponsors, helping fund financial literacy programming for schools and organizations that might not otherwise have access to it.  Sponsorship can support a single workshop, a full program, or ongoing partnership across multiple sites.  We'll work with you to structure something that fits your community investment goals.
