programming taught by
certified financial education instructor
While most programs stop at financial terms, definitions and how, Nkenge goes further, teaching the mindset behind money. We discuss the beliefs, habits, and emotions students already carry about money. Through workshops built around real conversation, students get a safe space to talk about money honestly, so they walk away with something that actually sticks and take action.

Financial education can change financial behavior.
Research shows that young people who receive financial education in high school are more likely to have better credit, experience fewer delinquencies, carry less credit card debt, and make better borrowing decisions as young adults.

Ms. Nkenge's financial class did not disappoint. She carefully explained topics like financial literacy, financial responsibility, financial independence, credit building, wants vs needs, and so much more. However, the way she was able turn every topic into a story of her own or relate it to a current event actually going on in the world made it so much easier to understand and visualize. Your session was amazing!!! Thank you!

Nkenge also understands the unique financial landscape student-athletes may encounter, including NIL opportunities, and ensures they are prepared to make informed financial decisions should those opportunities arise.
Eban goes beyond teaching financial concepts; they are helping young people build a foundation for long-term financial stability and become informed, confident young professionals. We are grateful for their continued investment in our student-athletes and the value they bring to S.W.A.A.G. programming.
